Venera's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy cows.

Venera's story

Venera is 48 years old, unmarried and is raising a daughter. Venera has a secondary education. In 1996, Venera began practicing agriculture with initial start-up capital in the amount of 15,000 som (KGS). Currently, Venera has a milk cow and a bull calf on her farm, as well as a 2.44 hectare plot of land on which she annually grows potatoes and sows grains. Her monthly income is more than 10,000 som (KGS). For the purpose of further developing her farm, Venera turned to Microfinance Bank "Bai-Tushum." She requested a loan to buy cows. With the remainder of the loan, she plans to spend it on crop farming, specifically to buy high quality seeds and mineral fertilizers. These actions will allow her to increase her income and will afford her the opportunity to save money for her daughter's education.
