Rwayda Al- Hodeidah Group's story

This group is called Rwayda Al- Hodeidah and is composed of four women living in Hodeidah, Yemen. They applied for a loan of 80,000 YER from AMB. The president of the group is Akram. She is 42 years old, married, and has six children. She works as a dressmaker in her area. She started her business three years ago by sewing clothes for the people in her area. Over time, Akram earned a good amount of money and she decided to continue in that business. She will use the loan to buy a sewing machine, stylish fabric, and other materials and in this way, will increase her working capital and improve her business. Her reason for applying for this loan is the lack of capital. She faces challenges in her business, including the need to increase her client base, and she will use the profits to improve the quality of life for her family. For this reason, she applied for a loan of 20,000 YER from AMB. Akram looks forward to providing her family with better living conditions. She hopes to buy more sewing machines and open other branches in the city.
