Susan's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more stocks of fruit and vegetables to sell to customers.

Susan's story

Susan is 31 years old, from Nyahururu. She is married to David and they are blessed with four children, aged 7, 4, 2 years, and 6 months old. Susan has been running her green grocer business for the last ten years and, to enable her to buy more stocks of fruit and vegetables to sell to her customers, she has applied for her second loan from VisionFund Kenya, in the amount of KES 27,000. With her previous loan of KES 20,000, Susan managed to buy stocks in bulk, which she sold to her customers, thus, increasing her monthly income from KES 8,000 to KES 12,000. She intends to use the anticipated profits from her expanded business to start a fruit and vegetables wholesale shop. In the future, Susan hopes to be the main supplier of fruit and vegetables in her area.
