Lanie's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for chicken and pork to sell.

Lanie's story

Lanie is thankful for the financial assistance extended to her. She runs a butcher shop and has been able to buy more pork and chicken needed in her business. Lanie’s previous loan helped not just in her business but also for the college education of her child. Her income from her business is also helping with her everyday household expenditures and she and her husband work very hard to provide for their family’s everyday needs. Lanie is requesting a 30,000 PHP loan to pay for additional supplies of chicken and pork needed in her business. More items to sell will result in better profit. Her profits will definitely help her to sustain her daily needs and provide for the educational expenses of her child. Lanie looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart. She dreams that her business will last longer and she hopes to have a better living. Lanie meets up weekly with her fellowship group* members to share stories of her work and draw strength and inspiration from studying the Word of God. * All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners that gather to study the Word of God, build social capital, and repay microfinance loans.
