Kigoma Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to increase his capital and purchase a bigger quantity of tomatoes and several litres of palm oil for resale, to earn more.

Kigoma Group's story

Marcien is a member of the Kigoma group and lives in Bujumbura. He is married to Anastasia, a shopkeeper. They have four children between the ages of seven and 15, all of whom go to school. He has been selling tomatoes and palm oil for eight years. This is his first loan from Turame. With the Kiva credit that he requests, he will increase his capital and purchase a bigger quantity of tomatoes and several litres of palm oil for resale, to earn more. In the coming years, he would like to take up cattle farming and see his children continue their studies.
