Mary's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy items to sell in her store.

Mary's story

Mary is 45 years old, separated and the mother of two children who are 13 and 16 years old. She has two additional dependents who live with her in order to complete their education. In 2004, Mary established a business where she sells shoes, bags, shirts, jeans, sneakers, bowls and food containers. She began her business to be self reliant after being devastated by a war. Her business is located on the outskirts of town and most of her customers are people who live nearby. Working 7 days a week and 12 hours a day, she earns about Le 1,644,650 every month and is requesting a loan for Le 5,000,000. Mary has already received and successfully repaid three prior loans, and now requires a new loan in order to have more items to sell. She hopes that this loan will help her improve her store and increase her profits. In the future, she plans to expand her business to the city center. She thanks you for your support.
