Manuel Antonio's story
Manuel lives in the Tiguilotada community. He is from a very humble, hard-working, and united family. He says that during the war time he had to walk traveling from one place to another. He lived some days in relatives’ houses to avoid being recruited and taken to serve obligatory military service. The times in the 80’s were difficult and hard for many families who lost relatives that died in the war. After everything was normalized, he started to shape his destiny by struggling and working in the fields. He grows basic grains and vegetables. He formed his own family. He has a total of eight children. Most of them are adults, and they are married. He has a good relationship with those that live close to his house, and they work together. There is no electricity in the community. He wishes to improve his family’s quality of life. Therefore, he wishes to apply for this loan. He will buy a small solar system in order to install it at his house.
