Raquel Audelina's story
Raquel has a high school education, but did not attend college when she was younger. Instead, she dedicated herself to growing coffee. She is a single mother. Her brother and her only son, who attends high school in the community, are the only people who help her manage and maintain her coffee crops. They also grow basic grains to sell on a small scale. For more than 10 years, she has dedicated herself to this activity that she learned at an early age thanks to her parents. Her products are sold in the local market through brokers and warehouses in the region. Her coffee crops, which they walk to, are located close to her home. However, the place where they sell their harvest is 15 kilometers from her home, so they must take a bus to get there. Her goals, hopes and dreams are to continue supporting her son in his education, give him the opportunity to prepare himself academically with a college education, and continue to strengthen her estate so that in the future he will be able to receive an income and live better. For this reason, she is seeking financial support with which they will be able to care for their coffee crops so that at the end of the season, they will harvest an excellent bean that will help improve their earnings.
