José Roberto's story

José is 33 years old. He is married and has a daughter who is 6 years old and goes to kindergarten. José graduated from high school, but his parents were not able to send him to the university, which makes it difficult for him to find formal employment. He does agricultural work in the cooperative where he lives. José has been working for 10 years as a day laborer in the sugar cane fields of the cooperative where he lives. He works there every day from 8 in the morning until noon. He walks a short distance to get there. The loan that he has applied for from CrediCampo is to buy a mill for nixtamal (corn), with which he will provide the service of grinding corn, which the women of the community use to make tortillas. This will help a lot, since the daily income that he will obtain will serve to improve the quality of life of his family. José plans to work hard, to save, and to enlarge his house and make it very nice.
