Olga Yolanda's story
Olga is a 48 year old woman. She is a fighter, entrepreneur, housewife and farmer. She really wants to get ahead with her husband and 3 children, who help with the different activities in the field, like planting the coffee and the vegetables. Olga has an incomplete primary education. She went up to the second grade thanks to the moral and financial support of her parents, who weren't able to keep supporting her in this way due to a lack of money. However, she does have a lot of experience in growing coffee and vegetables, since they taught her the different techniques at a young age. The land they work together as a family is their own. It is 10 minutes from their house and they get there on foot. The area is suitable for this type of crops, but not everything can be perfect. In the previous harvest, crop rust ruined a part of the crops and even other growers suffered losses from this. That is why today she has asked for a loan to buy agricultural materials to help her coffee, corn and bean crops and prevent damage to her crops again due to a lack of assistance. Her goals and hopes for her business are to be able to expand it, generating more earnings and fortifying her children's inheritance, with faith that she will be supported by the investors, to avoid what happened with the last harvest.
