Amadu S's story
Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 25-year-old Amadu from Waterloo Western rural area in Freetown. He is married with two children between the ages of 9 months and 3 years. He was a shopkeeper; he started his business to change his status of living. Amadu runs a business selling building materials within a busy market area. He has been running this business for 10 years. He works at the business from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., 6 days per week. Amadu says that the main challenge to his business is that transporting his goods from town to waterloo is very difficult. Amadu has requested a loan in order to purchase cement, zinc, nails, and a locker door. The extra income from this loan will allow him to open a savings account and take care of his family welfare. In the future, he plans to become a wholesaler. He thanks you for your support!
