but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped buy 300 pagnes (traditional wrap arounds) and 80 skirts.
Marc I Group's story
The client, Marie, is a brave retailer. She is an adviser and member of the “Marc I” business collective. She is a senior entrepreneur who is 50 years old. She is also the mother of five dependent children who all go to school. The client sells various clothing items. She displays her clothing in a market in the city. She started her business with funds received from her boyfriend. She has been working on this business for 20 years. This new loan will help her buy 300 pagnes (traditional wraparounds) and 80 skirts. As such, she thanks Hekima strongly for the empowerment of female entrepreneurs not served by the banking system - especially in this critical post-conflict moment in the east of the country.
