Paola's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for her graduation and get her degree in Public Accounting.

Paola's story

Paola is the youngest of eight siblings. She lives in the southern part of the city of Cochabamba. She lives together with her mom, three of her siblings, and various nieces and nephews, in just one house. Paola tells us that only two of her siblings are professionals, and two decided to move to Europe, where they work as construction workers and caring for the elderly. Paola studied public accounting in the state university, but she couldn’t finish with her graduation because her father died and she had to begin to work to help her mom and her siblings. Her mom is very sick, so she needs a lot of care and medicines. Paola is asking for an education loan to be able to graduate and get her degree in Public Accounting. In this way, she will have the chance to make a dream she has had since she was a little girl come true—to work in the national tax office. This will allow her to improve her financial situation and help her mother and siblings. In the future she will be able to make her own family. Paola thanks in advance the people who, through their financial resources, help others and create new opportunities for growth, just as they are doing for her now.
