Efrain's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped purchase supplies such as fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, bags for his nursery, tools and pay for labor.

Efrain's story

Efraín is a farmer from a hardworking family. With his wife, he has four children, two of whom are independent, and the rest are school-age and help him with some of the farm work. He has always dedicated himself to agricultural work and livestock. Currently, he has a small, 14,000 square foot parcel of cacao that he has worked on with great care. His goal is to expand and improve it by implementing good agriculture practices with the environment that do not harm natural resources. For this reason, he is seeking a loan to establish a nursery, purchase tools and supplies, and pay for labor, which will allow him to perform agricultural activities such as planting, pruning, weed control and fertilizing, among others. Through this, he will have a satisfactory yield and be able to sell it at a fair price in the market as the demand is high.
