Irina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to pay for agro-machinery (tractor).
Irina lives in Yenoqavan village with her husband, mother-in-law, and four children (ages 16, 15,13, and 10 years old). Irina and her husband run a farm. Her mother-in-law helps to take care of the children and Irina and her husband run their small farm. It includes pigs, piglets, and chickens. Some years ago, Irina and her husband also bought arable land where they currently cultivate corn, potatoes, and grass. The grass is used as forage for the livestock. Irina has now applied for this loan to purchase agro-machinery (tractor) and to develop the cultivation process. The loan will give them an opportunity to increase the cultivation process and gather a good harvest. Since this is Irina's first loan, it has been approved within the framework of the new joint initiative between Kiva and SEF International. The first-chance loan program provides loans to people who didn’t have access to credit products in the past because they had no credit history.
