A loan helped To buy leather, rexine, buckles, nails, soles, glue, and thread for shoe making.
Zarina is a 48-year-old married woman, living in the area of Lahore, Pakistan. She is the mother of six daughters and a son. Zarina has requested a loan from Kiva’s field partner BRAC Pakistan for her husband. Her husband is a shoe maker by profession. He has been making shoes since his childhood. This is the reason he has a lot of experience in his profession. He makes shoes by hand and his handmade shoes are very famous in his hometown. Previously, he only provided services to his clients for shoe making. Now that he has gotten a lot of market experience, he wants to buy materials such as buy leather, rexine, buckles, nails, soles, glue, and thread for shoe making so that he can earn more than before. Zarina wants to construct her house, provide a better education to her children, and help in the establishment of her husband's business. She is very thankful to the Kiva and its field partner BRAC Pakistan.
