Shazia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy some products for her business use such as clothes, threads, needles, etc.

Shazia's story

Shazia is a 34-year-old woman. She lives in Rawalpindi, Pakistan with her four children. Her husband has been working in a public sector organization for many years; he is responsible for fulfilling the needs of the family. Shazia also provides sewing services and earns income to contribute, along with her husband, to the management of the household. She needs different kinds of goods, such as needles, threads, pieces of clothes, machine oil, etc. for her business purpose, but due to insufficient financial means she is unable to purchase these accessories. Therefore she has applied for a Kiva loan from its field partner, BRAC Pakistan. This loan will enable her to purchase the above accessories and will also be helpful for her to increase monthly sales and profit by providing better sewing services. Shazia is very thankful to Kiva and BRAC Pakistan.
