Angélica's story

This young mother started her own business buying and selling bananas in the community, as well as transporting them to Managua to the Wholesale market. On weekends, she sells fried food in her home, where she lives with her mother. She has a large clientele in the community, and she is known for her quality foods. She plans on investing more money into the business so that she can yield greater profits and be able to build her small house on a plot of land that she inherited from her mother.

She lives with her husband and young son. She is the only one who deals directly with the business. She plans on obtaining more loans so that she can get ahead and be able to realize her dreams.
