A loan helped to purchase bales of green vegetables, onions, potatoes and tomatoes, for her business.

Rukia's story

Rukia is a widowed woman, with four children who are not in school. They live at their own house, which has neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is food for the family.

Rukia wants to start a new business, selling fruits and vegetables. She wants to sell from home to her neighbors. She dreams of establishing a mini-greengrocery, in the future.

With the KES 20,000 loan, she wants to purchase bales of green vegetables, onions, potatoes and tomatoes, for her business. She decided to join Yehu to get financial support.
