Vay's story

This is Vay. She is a 54-year-old woman living in a small village of Prey Chhor district, Kampong Cham province. She previously used a loan to buy various types of mixed products to sell in her general store in order to keep her business in a sustainable way. The loan was a great help for her and gave positive impacts to her current business and general living conditions. As of now, Vay is asking for a new loan for working capital to refill stock of her inventory again so as to satisfy her customers’ needs. She will buy noodles, snacks, sweets, toiletries and other miscellaneous household items for sale. The income from farming and selling items assures her of enough supply of food and payment for household bills like electricity and water. She expresses her thanks to Kiva lenders in advance.
