Charina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for tuition for a 2-month call center training program that can get her a job paying about $270 monthly.

Charina's story

Charina is a 19-year old high school graduate and lives in a rural village in Bago City. She belongs to a family of 11. Her father is a sugarcane farmer and her mother a housewife. Charina has 9 siblings. Her eldest brother is working as an automotive mechanic and her sister works as a sales clerk. The rest are still studying in Bago City College and the public high school and elementary. Charina worked as a housekeeper in a nearby city for 9 months. She earned Php 2,000.00 ($44) per month but this income was not even enough for her own needs. Charina would like to earn more for herself and for her family, and she believes that the training at BagoSphere might make her realize this goal. Charina's short term goal is to be a call center agent, so she can earn enough money to help her parents and send her siblings to school.
