Sabasaba Group's story

Emilie is a woman who has devoted her time to businesses. Her business is showing very good progress. She runs her businesses at a good business center, which is characterized by a high business volume. Emilie, who is aged in her early forties and is a mother of one son and a daughter, is married. She manages a beauty salon and also a rental house, which is a house left over from her father after he died. Emilie and her brother together decided to modify it and make it available for renting. Emilie runs her activities from the same house. She wakes up early in the morning to start her journey to her business place, 10 km, and she reaches it at 8:30 a.m. After opening, Emilie runs her business up to twelve hours a day. She is able to make a very good monthly profit. This is her seventh loan request from Tujijenge Tanzania. Emilie will use this loan to buy building materials for her new business place, a café. She used her previous loans, all of which she paid back successfully, to repair and modify her father's leftover house with new materials. Emilie, in order to avoid public buses disturbance, bought a business car. She managed to earn a profit, which she used to build a house, buy house furniture and an electric stove. She dreams of opening a poultry business. She will share this loan with her loan group, "Sabasaba", which totals two members. The members of the group will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
