Adila's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy new fertilizers and new kinds of fruit tree seeds.

Adila's story

Adila is 44 years old and married. She has four daughters and a son. Her family are refugees, and they have lived in an IDP settlement for a long time. Adila is a farmer; she raises fruits (e.g., apples, pears) and vegetables (e.g., cucumbers, onions, potatoes, greens). She sells the produce at the local bazaar. She has worked in this field for 12 years, earning 150AZN monthly.

People like eating fruits and vegetables. They know that fresh fruits and vegetables are useful for health. They use fruit to prepare juice or jam, and they cook different kinds of soup and other dishes using vegetables. They prefer buying fruits and vegetables from private gardens, because it’s cheaper.

Adila doesn’t earn enough money to cover her big family’s demands. She applied for a 2,000AZN loan, in order to buy new fertilizers and new kinds of fruit tree seeds. She wants to provide a good education for her children and make their life as easy as possible.
