Maria Auxiliadora's story
Mrs. Maria Auxiliadora is 44 years of age living in the neighborhood of Santa Rosa. She has three children who are 19, 23, and 25 years of age. One of them is independent and two are studying at university. She is married. Her husband is a contractor for a company in Managua. Maria's business is a small restaurant in her house. She has 44 years of experience in this business, which she inherited from her mother. This small business has special significance since it is a family business and they have put a lot of effort into making it succeed and, in this manner, have income to support the family. The loan will be invested in the business and will be used to purchase ingredients for the dishes that she offers to customers. Her short-term plans are to invest in the restaurant's infrastructure so that she may offer better service. Maria Auxiliardora's greatest wish is to give her children the education that is necessary to become contributing members of society.
