Fe Y Amor 1 & 2 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy such goods as flour, sugar, eggs, rice, and beans for her food market business.

Fe Y Amor 1 & 2 Group's story

Maria is the coordinator of her group, which is called Fe y Amor (Faith and Love) 1 & 2. Her group is located in Santiago, a lush, rugged peninsula with a nascent tourism industry. She makes her home here in a simple structure with her long-term partner. She says that her most difficult challenge has been to establish her business. Maria is excited to receive her eleventh loan with Esperanza after having successfully repaid her previous loans and growing her business. She has been running her business for about seven years. She started selling groceries in a small stall, and now she is running a 'colmado' (a small food market). This loan will be used to buy such goods as flour, sugar, eggs, rice, and beans. She will use the expected profits to increase her savings and reinvest in her business. She is very thankful for your support.
