but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy sugar, cinnamon, raisins, and cups.

Caminando Juntos Group's story

The Communal Bank "Camindando Juntos" (Walking Together) consists of eight enterprising members. Martha is 51 years old, married, and has seven children, one of whom is still a dependent. She and her husband sell "mazamorra" (corn pudding) that they offer at a variety market. They have been in this business for more than seven years. With the fruit of their efforts, they were able to buy a motorcycle taxi for providing transportation services as an extra source of household income. Her latest loan will be used to buy supplies such as sugar, cinnamon, raisins, and cups. Continuing to work in a positive manner is her greatest wish. The group "Camindando Juntos" appreciates the Kiva lenders for the help they have provided. Martha is fourth from the left, wearing a hat and a purple shirt.
