A loan helped to buy fertilizer for his coffee crop.

Jose Ines's story

José Inés is 53 years old, and he lives with his wife and children in the village of Las Juntas, a small community made up of six families. It is situated near the La Viña River, which flows into the Marañón River, in a rural area within the district of Santo Tomás. This area is characterized by its green landscapes and rugged terrain, which has made development possible through agriculture--mainly coffee, fruit, and other crops--trade, and cattle raising . It is located in the Cutervo Province, which lies within the Cajamarca Region in Peru’s northern sierra. He has been a farmer for 20 years; mainly growing coffee, which he has planted on two hectares of his land, and he also grows pineapples. He has a united family who put a lot of effort into their work. He has requested a loan of 2,000 nuevos soles from Edpyme Alternativa in order to buy fertilizer for his crops, so that he can offer his customers a good production. In this way, he will generate more income for his family.
