Volcanes De Coronel Group's story

Nolvia is the first one on the left in the photograph; she has wavy hair and a big smile, and is wearing glasses on her head, a blue blouse, and a purse across her chest. She belongs to Volcanes de Coronel Communal Bank, the members of which have a variety of businesses, including selling glasses, jewelry, selling new and used clothing, selling vegetables, and selling cosmetics. Nolvia has had her business for two years. She sells homemade jam and whole wheat bread, and recently started catering. Her aunt taught her to make jam and bread a long time ago. Nolvia also sells lunch to teachers during the school year, which helps her finances. Nolvia's big challenge now is being able to firm up her dream of having all her catering supplies: dinnerware, silverware, nice tablecloths, and glassware. It's challenging because she has just begun and it's going fairly well for her. Nolvia will use the money she's requesting to buy jam jars and everything she needs to firm up her catering plans. What she likes most about participating in Fondo Esperanza is the meetings.
