A loan helped to buy a dairy cow and to repay an outstanding debt.

Maria Custodia's story

María is a 45-year-old woman who was raised in the country, where she learned everything about farming activities. This knowledge enables her to generate income today so that she can help her husband with the household finances and provide for the daily needs of their four children. María started her business independently by raising and selling pigs, but she later decided to transition her business to producing and selling milk, which is the line of work she is pursuing now.

She is a charismatic and friendly person who is always looking for new alternatives that will help her keep advancing. For this reason, she is requesting a loan in order to strengthen her business. The money will be used to buy a milk-producing cow and to pay off the balance of an outstanding debt. This will help to increase production and generate a higher level of profit from her sales.

María says that her main interest is continuing her business and taking advantage of the space on her farm in order to continue production. This will enable her to support her children by providing them a better quality education. In the future, she wants them to become well-rounded individuals who can forge ahead and have a successful life.
