Bersabe's story

Bersabe is a very dynamic and hardworking woman of 33 years. She studied until 8th grade; she's married. Several years ago, they emigrated to the United States in search of a better life. There, she obtained work in a restaurant where she worked for 5 years. Later, they returned to their home country with some savings and established themselves as family, living in the city. Later, they decided to go live in a canton; they saw that they would have more opportunities to grow productively in this place, working at agriculture and animal husbandry. Along with them also lives a nephew that they raise like a son. Their two children depend on them economically. Bersabe runs a store in the house, with which she provides products to the neighbors who stop by to obtain necessary products for the home. She has had the store for 4 years. Apart from this, she also works selling clothes in the seasons with most demand, like summer and Christmas. Her 13 year-old son also helps her sell when she is found busy with the domestic chores. She has applied for this loan. In all of this time they have had to live in their house, they have not enjoyed having their own electricity. They obtain it from the house of her father who lives in front of them. The couple hopes that with the money from the loan, they will send to have two posts established that are needed to install the electricity in their house and, in this manner, not inconvenience her father. Bersabe dreams of improving her house, so that it shines beautifully in the future. She also aspires to pay off all of the debts that she's had pending and see that her children improve and become good professionals and so that they have a prosperous and agreeable place to live.
