but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a photocopy machine and to restock spare parts to resell at her shop.

Comreds B Group's story

Hawa, who is in her early 40s, is married and has five children who are in school. Since 2003, Hawa has been a business woman with a variety of enterprises. One of her businesses is in motorbike spare parts, another is catering, where she provides food services for different functions, and lastly, Hawa manages a beauty salon business. Hawa employs a few business helpers who assist in selling. She runs her business from 7:30am to 8:00 pm each working day and is able to make a very good profit. This is her second loan from Tujijenge Tanzania, and she will use it to buy a photocopy machine and restock spare parts to resell at her shop. She used her previous loan, which she has repaid in full, to improve her spare parts business with new spare parts which were most in demand. Hawa used her business profit to cover household expenses and reinvest back in her enterprises. She also bought a plot of land where she expects to build a very nice family house. Hawa dreams of being an international business woman. Hawa will share this loan with her loan group "Comreds B", which totals two members, who will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
