A loan helped to buy supermarket items to meet her customers' demands.

Mafinga Group's story

Grace, who is in her late 30's, is married with one son who goes to school. She has been running a supermarket for four years. She works from 8:30am to 10:00pm daily and is able to make a very good monthly profit. This will be Grace's 3rd loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loans to buy fast-moving items so that she can meet her customers' demands. She paid back all her loans successfully. She used the profit to pay school fees, cover household expenses, and start building her house. She shared her view that the company should reduce interest and consider giving good clients a chance for an individual loan. She will use this loan to buy supermarket items to meet her customers' demands. She dreams of owning a wholesale shop. Grace will share this loan with her loan group, Mafinga, which has seven members who will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
