Gayane's story

Gayane is 34-years-old and she lives in Vanadzor in the Lori region. Gayane is married and she has three school-aged daughters. She has the specialty of a nurse, but she has never worked and it has already been ten years that she has been engaged in the trading business. On a rented stall, she sells curtains, covers and different fabrics. During these years, she has already managed to attract many customers who have become her loyal customers. Gayane is very pleasant, cute and patient in her business. She even has a sewing machine and she herself sews and helps her customers to design the curtains or cover for their room, which they choose at her stall. She brings her stall’s products from the Yerevan wholesale markets once a month. Her daughters also help her very much and sometimes they also give some advice and ideas with the design of curtains. She asks for a loan of 1,100,000 Armenian drams in order to buy a lot of new assortment of fabrics for her business and to increase her income from it as well.
