Irum's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to pay to repair her husband's rickshaw.
Irum is a 31-year-old, a hardworking housewife. She lives in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, with her husband, her two daughters and her son. Her husband is a security guard by profession, but his monthly income is not enough to cover the household expenses of his family. Therefore, for the past four years, while he works as security guard, he also drives a rickshaw at night. But currently he is not able to generate any income from the rickshaw, as its engine is not working properly and needs to be repaired. Irum has applied for a loan from KIVA partner BRAC Pakistan to borrow the amount needed to repair the engine. With the profit, her husband wants to buy a taxi in the future. Irum desires to provide a quality education to her all children, and she prays for the good health of her family and for the growth of her husband's business. She is very thankful to BRAC.
