A loan helped to pay for ten sheep and feed for the livestock.

Hranush's story

Hranush is involved in agriculture. She runs a farm that includes sheep, cows, chickens and pigs. Near the house Hranush also owns a plot of agricultural land where she cultivates potatoes and grass. Hranush is a very hardworking farmer and the mother of three children (her eldest child is in the photo). Hranush's husband assists his wife with farming activities. He takes the gathered harvest to the market and sells it to gather income that is vital for the family. Because of the family's poor conditions, Hranush has applied to local financial institutions several times. Because Hranush is very responsible and attentive, she has paid them successfully. Now she is applying for a loan of 1,500 USD from Kiva lenders. The loan will help her to purchase ten sheep and forage for feeding the livestock in the winter. The loan will greatly assist Hranush and she hopes for lenders' support.
