A loan helped To pay the tuition fee for her daughter who wants to pursue an associate degree majoring in Midwifery.

Mach's story

Mach, 38, is a married mother blessed with three children. Nowadays, she only needs to support one schoolchild. To manage the daily basic needs of her family, she grows rice and her husband works at a construction site as a paid worker. Her business, which she has had for ages, has returned her about $3.50 US per day. After offsetting necessary expenses, she is able to save only about $1 US per day. This is the first microloan for Mach with VisionFund(Kiva’s partner). She will spend this entire loan to pay the tuition fee for her daughter who wants to pursue an associate degree majoring in Midwifery. She hopes that her daughter can obtain the degree and help others.
