A loan helped To pay for taxi repair.
Willayat is a 34-year-old hard working housewife. She lives in Rawalpindi, Pakistan with her husband, two sons, and one daughter. Her husband is a security guard by profession, but his monthly income is not enough to fulfill the household expenses of his family. Therefore, for the past four years, along with his profession of security guard, he also drives a taxi at night. Currently, he is not able to generate any income from the taxi, as its engine is not working properly and needs to be repaired. Willayat has requested a loan from KIVA partner BRAC Pakistan to meet the amount of repairing the engine of her husband's taxi. With the profit, her husband wants to open a new auto mechanic shop in the future. She desires to provide a quality education to all her children, and she prays for the good health of her family and for the growth of her husband's business. She is very thankful to BRAC.
