Alejandrina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy agricultural ingredients to help with coffee cultivation.
Alejandrina is a woman who has worked in agricultre from a very young age, as her family has been working in agriculture for generations. Her parents taught her how to work the land, and they dedicated themselves to growing coffee and raising animals. Alejandrina is 52 years old, and receives help from her three children who live with her in her home. She also lives with a daughter-in-law and two grandchildren. Alejandrina has an incomplete primary school education (she studied through 4th grade), since her parents did not have the financial resources for her to continue her studies. Today, in order to help her family and to earn income for her home, she cultivates coffee on the land around her home, which allows her and her children to maintain their crops and avoid plagues since they can keep a constant watch on their fields. Alejandrina's goal is to continue growing her production, allowing her children and grandchildren to inherit the land so they can continue generating income for their homes and send their children to college. As a result, she is asking for this loan from COMIXMUL to buy fertilizer, fungicide, and herbicide to take care of her coffee plants and obtain a good harvest to sell to her clients.
