Monday's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more clothes to sell.

Monday's story

Monday is 30 years old and lives in the town of Kinoni in the region of Masaka in Uganda. He is married and has three children with two of them currently in school. For the past two years, Monday has been working hard to manage his boutique where he sells various clothes. To help expand his business, Monday has requested a loan of 2,000,000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to buy more clothes for the business and will help Monday to generate greater profits and take care of his children's medical bills. Monday hopes that in the future, he will be able to achieve his goals. Monday is a member of BRAC's Small Enterprise Program (SEP). The program primarily serves small entrepreneurs like Monday who do not have enough collateral for commercial loans, but have businesses that have grown too large for microloans. "
