Spès is part of the group Amahoriwacu and lives in Gitega. She is 41 years old and married to P. Claver. Together they have five children, from 5 to 18 years old, of whom four are students. Spès has been doing commerce in bananas and fish (ndagala) for three years. She is on her second Turame loan. With the KIVA loan she is obtaining, she is going to increase her capital and purchase a large amount of bananas to resell, so as to earn more.
