Laura's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to pay for new stock of products for reselling.
Laura is married with a 4-year-old child. She lives in Gyumri town with her baby as her husband is a migrant worker in the Russian federation, where he works for being able to sustain his family. Laura has been engaged in the reselling of the cosmetics for already four years. She orders and purchases cosmetics supplies from different firms, and resells them to her local clients. The income from this business is very important for this family, as this way, Laura is able to cover basic costs and help her husband in sustaining the family's living. Currently, by applying for this loan, Laura needs to purchase new stock of products for reselling. She has now been approved for a loan within the framework of a new joint initiative between Kiva and SEF international. The start-up loan program provides business start-up loans with soft conditions to informal businesses that do not have access to credit products. This loan will be a great support for this young woman for increasing the business activity that she is involved in and gathering better income for her family.
