Maria's Group's story
Maria is one of the members of the Fuente Para el Desarrollo (Font for Development) 4. They are micro-businesswomen who sell clothes, natural products, shoes, artisan crafts, etc. They are in the city of Samana, a tourist town in development. Their town is still rural but is a great natural escape, and these borrowers use this to sell their products to people visiting their town. Maria is a single woman, working to become a professional and to have a successful business, she is planning to run a Spa. Maria is very excited to be receiving her third loan from Esperanza International. She has successfully paid off her previous loans and taken steps to grow her business. She started her business almost two years ago. She offers manicure, pedicure, massage and other beautician services. She will invest her new loan in purchasing hair and beauty products as well as other beauty parlor accessories. She will use her earnings to re-invest in the business while she saves for her future and studies. Maria thanks you for your support!
