Kisiwani Group's story
Bahati, who is in her mid 30s, is married with two children, a boy and a girl. One of them goes to school and the other one is still young. She has been making and selling soap since 2007. She works from 11.00 am to 4.00 pm daily and is able to make a good monthly profit. This will be Bahati's 7th loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loans to keep on increasing the stock whenever she got the new loan. She and her family are happy with the loans. She has paid back all her loans successfully. She used the profit to pay school fees and built her house. She will use this loan to buy more equipment for making soap. She dreams of improving her business. Bahati will share this loan with her loan group "Kisiwani" with five members who will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
