Maximo's story

Máximo is 45 years old and his family has six members; the parents and four children. He is from a humble family of scarce economic resources, which is why he cultivates very small pieces of land. He lives in the community Mizque and has been working with agriculture and livestock for 27 years. He produces onions, potatoes, and beans for the family's own consumption and he sells the surplus to merchants in Mizque. Máximo is a very respected person in his community because of his dedication to his work and his sense of responsibility as regards feeding and educating his children. Máximo is requesting this loan in order to buy more seeds, compost, and agrochemicals so that he can increase and improve the quality of his production, thus improving the living conditions of his whole family.
