Corina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy organic fertilizer.
Corina is 43 years old. She is married to Julio and has two children. She owns a house, which she was able to build out of quality materials thanks to many years of hard work. She lives there with her beloved family. She owns a plot of land in a nearby community where she grows cacao, coffee, turmeric, and other crops. Since she is responsible for the care of her young children, she can't personally carry out the daily farming chores, and keeps her business running by hiring workers. In order to adequately manage her farmland she needs to have enough money to allow her to purchase supplies, such as organic fertilizer and tools. She also needs to be able to pay the workers, which are always needed because the crops need maintenance requiring a collective effort. This is her first Kiva loan and she is grateful for the financial support she is receiving in order to keep going. She also promises to pay her installments on time. At this time she would like to have 1,000 nuevos soles to continue investing in her land by purchasing organic fertilizer.
