Bill's story

Bill, 30, is single and has no children. He lives with his parents and three younger siblings. Bill is in the bakery business and makes high quality breads. He works at home and has the necessary tools such as a modern rotary oven, dough maker and other utensils. He has been in business for over four years and during that time has established a loyal customer base because of the good flavor of his bread. He has the help of a master baker and two assistants to make the bread and deliver them to stores in the area. He believes the business is profitable because of the demand for his products and the profits he makes. He enjoys his work and wants to become a business owner and employ other people to help develop his community. This is his fifth Kiva loan and he is grateful for the financial support he receives in order to prosper. He is committed to paying back the loan on time. He will use the 800 PEN loan to buy bakery supplies such as sacks of flour, butter, sugar and other supplies. This will allow him to lower costs and improve profit margins.
