Sharif's story

A real painter strives to be unique. Sharif, an artist from the city of Khujand, demonstrates his uniqueness by using rugs as canvases and by painting people dancing traditional Tajik dances. He also draws beautiful landscapes and still-lifes on paper. While you need to be a true art lover to appreciate the work of some painters, Sharif's creations can also be enjoyed by people with little knowledge of art. Sharif is 58 years old. He is married and lives with his wife, son, daughter-in-law and three grandchildren. He seriously began to draw and exhibit his work 25 years ago. All these years, he has also been working at an art institute. At the same time, he gives private art lessons at home. He wants to pass on his talent and skills to the younger generation, and he currently has two students. Sharif needs a loan because he has run out of paints and he needs to renew his stock of brushes. He plans to use the amount of his loan to buy paints and brushes so that his work doesn't need to be interrupted.
