G.s Santa Fe Group's story

The "Santa Fe" communal bank is from one of the municipalities in the north-east of the country. It is composed of four members: Ana Cecilia, María Adelaida, Alma Suyen, y María Angélica, all married adults who have six children who they still are responsible for. Their other children are working. All the members have the same business: Pulperias, which are small grocery stores. They sell basic household items like rice, sugar, matches, coffee, candies, beans, oil, detergents, soft drinks, frozen foods, etc. Ana Cecilia is the coordinator of the group who is responsible for meeting the proper payments on time, something she is quite capable of doing with her sense of responsibility. She has had her business for a number of years now and with the assistance of the loans has managed to expand it. The objective of this loan is to invest in her business and be able to meet the needs of her customers. The "Santa Fe" communal bank is very thankful for the support that the lenders at Kiva offer people of modest economic resources to access employment.
