Total loan: $425
La Unión, La Unión Department, El Salvador / Food
Maritza Yaneth's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy ingredients to make more snacks; to make more profits; and in part to re-roof a room.
Maritza Yaneth's story
Martiza is 41 years old. She has a first-grade education. She lives with her husband, who works as a carpenter, her daughter, who is in school, and she also lives with three nephews she is looking after, two of whom are in school, one in high school and the other in grammar school. She sells bread with chicken, enchiladas, sodas, etc. on Sundays out in the field where they play games and lot of people hang out. She has had her business for five years. She needs her loan to invest in sales; she will buy more ingredients to make more snacks. This will provide her with a little more income and part of it will go toward re-roofing a room. She wants to keep working to improve her home and give her daughter and nephews what they need.
