A loan helped to buy a cow for getting milk.
Kishwar's Group's story
Kishwar is a 39-year-old, married woman. For the past six years, she has been successfully running a business, selling milk to the people of her community. She has one buffalo. She has become famous in her locality for providing good-quality milk. She has a good client list and makes enough money to contribute to her family's income. Kishwar is a loving mother of five children. Her husband works as a mason and earns insufficient income to support the needs of the family members. In order to inflate her sales, Kishwar needs to purchase an additional cow. For this, she requested a loan from Kiva's field partner BRAC Pakistan, to buy an additional cow. She expects a boost in her earnings with her loan and plans to spend her profits on expanding her business. She gives thanks to Kiva and to its field partner, BRAC Pakistan.
